Now this weeks’ videos felt like there were specially for me. I have always felt that sometimes I am all over the place and in the video with David Carrington he said “the first step of entrepreneurship is really to embrace thinking backwards, not problem solution, solution to problem…to thinking randomly. They take all kinds of input and then come up with solutions that no one else would think. And that’s what makes them entrepreneurs” These words are encouragement to me because I felt that thinking randomly and different process and at the same time come up with where some kind of disorganization or that the entrepreneurship concept was lost for me, but with what David Carrington mention I felt that is a common action of an entrepreneur.
Taylor Richards mention Nephi with his challenges and his great enthusiasm to always keep pushing ahead. He also said something that really got to my bones “not underestimating yourself - and the Lord and the great things you can do”. I have experience what Nephi went through with people telling me I couldn’t start my new goals, or que impossible that this could be but we need to ignore the Laman and Lemuel in our lives and keep pushing forward.
Eric Ries talks about situations that we con encounter that need little steps to get a solution and sometimes the solution is not what we think, the root of the problems are from other places, and we apply the step by step then we can diagnose where and how to the solution.
Now lets mention the message by Elder Holland, his words of encouragement came in the right time in my life, this is what he said: “Don't you quit! You keep walking. You keep trying. There is help and happiness ahead. Some blessings come soon. Some come late, and some don't come till Heaven. But for those who embrace the gospel of Jesus Christ, they come. It will be alright in the end. Trust God, and believe in good things to come.” When I was listening to this message this week, was very clear that this words were exactly for me and what I needed to listen to don’t give up, that I am different but is good because I am an entrepreneur.
Dallin H. Oaks quoted this story about a father that told his son: “All that I have I desire to give you—not only my wealth but also my position and standing among men. That which I have I can easily give you, but that which I am you must obtain for yourself.” It will be easy to just expect everything that our Father in Heaven has for us handed with no effort. This week I interview a great example of entrepreneurship and she mentions that her daughters are anxiously waiting for her to pass the business to them and she said that she will never do that unless they are willing to work and learn from the bottom of the business up. Taylor Richards mention that after establishing his boat dealership they were invited to have this count down of the best dealerships in North America and the first time they ranked No. 11 and the second time No. 6, he said that he is a normal person with a great team. This teaches me that yes we want to become entrepreneurs but we need help along the way and ...
